Dynamics GP is now under the Modern Lifecycle policy ​

In October 2019, Microsoft introduced the Modern Lifecycle Policy for Microsoft Dynamics GP.  Before this date, the system was governed by the Fixed Lifecycle Policy.  The Modern Policy offers continuous support and servicing, including bug fixes, new features and the latest tax updates three times a year.

Microsoft Fixed Lifecyle and Modern Lifecycle Policies FAQ's

If you are using Dynamics GP 2018 R2 or older - Fixed Lifecycle

Prior to 2019, versions of Dynamics GP used the Fixed Lifecycle policy and each version of the software had a definitive end date for Microsoft support.  The software is not going end of life, mainstream support will end for older versions which was always the case.  The following are the end dates for each version:

If you are using the current version of Dynamics GP - Modern Lifecycle

If you are using a current version there is no fixed end date.  Typically there are three updates per year.  The October update delivers new capabilities and the two other updates typically consist of hotfixes, tax updates, and any relevant regulatory updates.
