Important: Microsoft email security change for Dynamics GP users
This change will impact users on Dynamics GP 2019 or lower
It is important for Dynamics GP users to know that on the 1st of October 2022, Microsoft will switch off ‘Basic Authentication’ and will switch to the more secure method using 'Modern Authentication'. This means that customers using version Dynamics GP 18.2 (known as Microsoft Dynamics GP 2019) or lower will need to upgrade their system if they wish to continue to use workflow and email functionality in Dynamics GP.

In 2019, Dynamics GP moved to the Modern Lifecycle policy, prior to this versions were on a Fixed Lifecyle policy. This means that customers using Dynamics GP 2018 R2 will receive mainstream Microsoft software support till 2023 and extended support till 2028. |
